USES : DELICTASE® is a high activity lactase enzyme help to improve the insufficient production of lactase that may give rise to lactose indigestibility, and this phenomenon leads to an increase in flatulence and abdominal swelling that may be one of the causes of infant colic normally occur during the first few weeks of life.  DELICTASE® can supplement the lactase enzyme for infant, and improve or avoid the above situation.

DELICTASE® can be used in infant formula, with mother’s milk extracted and reserved for babies or directly to the breastfed child.

Direction of use :

With mother's milk: Place the adequate number of drops in a previous sterilized spoon and give it directly to the baby's mouth, following the indications of the dosing table on the baby’s age with the number of drops per meal; Continue breastfeeding as usual.

With the infant formula and ready-to-use liquid formula: Carefully prepare the infant formula according to the manufacturer's instructions; Add the DELICTASE® drops to lukewarm milk according to the dosing table; Discard the formula that is not used.

In case parents choose to prepare the baby's meals beforehand, add 4 drops of DELICTASE® to the milk and keep it in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

The dosing table is indicative. For exceptional cases, in which the baby is experiencing a great deal of discomfort, DELICTASE® usage can be gradually increased, drop by drop, to a maximum of 12 drops per feed.

Precaution : Store in a dry place in its original packaging at a temperature below 25°C. DELICTASE® is an enzyme and is easily destroyed by heat, avoid exposure of the product to light and addition of DELICTASE® to milk be carried out when the milk is lukewarm or at room temperature.   Keep out of the reach of children.  Discard after 3 weeks once opened.  Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the product package.
