Gifrer® Septinasal Unidoses

COMPOSITION
Sodium chloride 0.9g, Polysorbate 80, Thyme Extract, Pentahydrated copper sulphate, Glycerol, Purified water q.s. for 100mL.
Preservative free.

INDICATIONS
Septinasal is a nasal cleansing solution used for colds and rhinopharyngitis containing physiological solution with fluidizer, thyme extract and copper, recommended for babies, children and adults.

POSOLOGY:
1 washing in each nostril 2-3 times per day.
1 single-dose container of 5 ml = 1 washing for both nostrils.
It therefore helps to improve breathing. This product should not be used more than few days.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Grasp the tip and twist until the tip is entirely free from the bottle.

Press gently on the single-dose so as to make the solution run.

Instructions for use in infants and children:

Lay the baby on his back, with its head tilted to one side. Gently insert the tip of the single-dose container into the nostril. Gently squeeze the single-dose container to deliver the required dose. Repeat the operation in the other nostril if needed. In babies, always instill the product with the minimum of pressure to avoid any risk of contaminating the middle ear.

Wait a while to let the solution act, hold up the baby’s head again. Dry gently the extra-liquid. For babies, you can, if needed, also draw out the mucus with a nasal aspirator.

PARTICULAR PRECAUTIONS
Before use check the integrity of the bottle. If the single-dose container is damaged, open or pierced, do not use it and discard it immediately.
SINGLE-USE container. DO NOT INJECT.
DO NOT USE in the eyes.
DO NOT USE the same single-dose container for various people.
Do not keep after opening. Discard immediately after use.
Once single-dose is opened, microbial contamination of the solution is possible.
In case of a medical treatment administered by nasal route, apply Septinasal before its application and not after, to avoid its elimination.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one of the product’s other ingredients.
Keep out of reach of children. Particular attention should be paid to the plastic tip.
Do not exceed the expiry date clearly indicated on the packaging and single-dose.
Store containers in the box and below 25°C.
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and/or patient is established.
